La Palmera is a very well equipped and comfortable villa, located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the popular beach resort of Binibeca Vell, on Menorca’s beautiful south coast. It is ideally located in a peaceful and relaxing area but is also just a short five-minute walk to shops, bars and restaurants and a twenty-minute walk to the beach of Binibeca, famous for its white sand, clear turquoise water and its quirky little beach hut café.   The villa is very spacious and offers high quality accommodation for up to eight people.  On the main floor, is the main living room, which has plenty of natural light thanks to the French doors that open on to the patio.  It is tastefully furnished with various sofas, a coffee table and also has a wall mounted TV with Sky channels and a DVD player, a CD player and Wi-Fi Internet access.  Just off to the side of here is a second living room/dining room.  The living room area has two sofas and another TV/DVD, this room also has a PlayStation 2 with two controllers.  There is a dining table and chairs, enough to comfortably seat eight people.  This room has an air-conditioning unit installed and it helps ensure that the whole of the main level is cool.   Also on this level is the kitchen, fully fitted with an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave and plenty of utensils.  The fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine are just off the kitchen in the adjacent utility room.  One of the four bedrooms is located on this floor; a twin room with fitted wardrobes, air-conditioning and a separate bathroom.  There is also a storage room that contains four mountain bikes –two adult, two junior- for the guests to use as they wish.   Upstairs are the rest of the bedrooms: the master bedroom with a king sized bed, fitted wardrobes, dressing unit, air conditioning, French doors that lead onto the large terrace with spectacular sea views and a new ensuite bathroom with walk in shower and two wash basins.  The other two rooms are twins, with two single beds each, built-in wardrobes, access to the terrace and air conditioning units.  There are two bathrooms down the hall; a full family bathroom and a separate shower room, both recently renovated.   The outdoor area includes the unique kidney-shaped pool with roman steps that is completely enclosed, a sunbathing terrace with sun loungers, a built-in BBQ with outdoor food prep area, and dining table and chairs on a covered terrace area. There are also two elevated terraces to the side of the property covered by a pergola that provides shade. These terrace areas are perfect places for sitting back, relaxing and enjoying the spectacular sea views.
