The Space
Villa Monica is a pretty semi-detached single storey villa located in Cala'n Porter, on the south coast of the island. The villa has an enclosed private garden with a swimming pool that is surrounded by a sunbathing terrace. There is a dining terrace furnished with table and chairs for al fresco dining, and a built-in barbeque. Exterior steps with safety gate lead up to a roof top terrace.
The villa has been decorated with comfortable pine furniture and all rooms are distributed on one level. It comprises of an open plan, living/dining room with free Wi-Fi internet and an equipped kitchen, one double bedroom and two twin rooms, one fa,ily bathroom and one shower room. In total the villa sleeps 6.
Location
Villa Monica is situated on a cliff-top tourist resort, Cala'n Porter, on the south coast of the island. The town is ideal for families and offers a variety of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and souvenir shops. The wonderful bay with crystal clear water is a 10 minute walk from the villa and can be accessed via steps or road. Other south coast beaches (Binibeca, Punta Prima, Binisafúa, Son Bou) can be reached in less than 15 minutes by car and the capital town, Mahon, is also only 10 minutes drive.
Cala'n Porter is set on the cliffs overlooking a stunning bay in a protected nature area offering fabulous views of countryside, white sands and turquoise waters. This is a self-contained resort perfect for those wanting everything nearby. It is also close to Mahon, Es Castell and Alaior if you fancy a change of scenery.
The beach at Cala'n Porter is perfect for smaller children due to its perfect sands, and shallow waters.
The beach can be reached on foot via steps or by car with free car parking. At the beach front there are public toilets and a red cross/lifeguards post. There are also a few beachside Cafe bars and basic restaurants along the beachside promenade in case you don’t fancy walking back up the hill for your lunch.

As from 1st July 2016 the Balearic Government imposed a Tourism Eco Tax of 2.20€ (VAT included) for the first 8 nights stay per person per night. From the ninth night of the stay onwards, the amount is reduced to 1.10€ (VAT included) per person per night. The tax applies to all guests over the age of 16 and is payable on arrival at the property managers check-in reception in office.
