The Space
Villa Sophie is part of a charming development of eight villas. Although it is a development of villas together, its location in a secluded cul-de-sac in Addaia on Menorca’s dramatic north coast, offers guests plenty of privacy and peace. The local amenities of Addaia are only a short walk away.
On arrival to Villa Sophie, guests will walk through a small garden and past traditional Menorcan dry stone walls to get to the house’s entrance. Once through the door you enter the kitchen, fully equipped with quality appliances such as a fridge/freezer, a microwave, a washing machine and all the cutlery, crockery and utensils necessary for self-catering. The living room is tastefully furnished, like the rest of the house, in a rustic style with comfortable sofas and a coffee table There is a TV with IPTV channels and various films for the guests to use as they wish, and free Wi-Fi is also available. From here there are sliding doors that lead out onto the terrace.
Upstairs are the bedrooms: one double with french doors that open out onto a lovely balcony with outdoor furniture; and one twin room with two single beds. The main bathroom has a full sized bath with shower overhead. The second bathroom is located downstairs and has a half-bath and overhead shower, a toilet, a vanity and a sink.
The outdoor areas are shared with the other villas and include a large communal swimming pool with attached children´s pool and terrace it is very beautifully decorated with pretty flowering plants.
Location
Addaya is a sheltered fishing and sailing port on the North-East of the island. The large natural harbour inlet is surrounded by rugged farmland whilst the old tower of Torre d’Addaya dominates the entrance to the beautiful estuary where you can dive and fish. The whole area is renowned for its beauty, beaches, scuba diving and bird watching with many country walks and cycling trails clearly signposted. Over the last few years Addaya has become an attractive area of quality residential properties built around a smart marina, home to private yachts and boats. One of the best sailing schools in the Mediterranean is in Fornells, just 15 minutes from Addaya.
Addaya has a small parade of shops and restaurants as well as a small tapas bar/restaurant down on the harbour overlooking the water. A scenic coastal footpath wends its way around Addaia with spectacular views out to sea and over to nearby Macaret.
