The Space
These apartments are newly reformed and refurbished in a modern mediterranean style, privately owned and therefore certain characteristics may vary from one property to another, although all have the same basic requirements. There are two and three bedroom apartments in the complex, all the apartments face south and are either ground floor with covered terrace or first floor with sunny terrace.
The lounge-dining area and kitchen are open plan and simply furnished with all basic requirements, there is also free Wifi and A/C.
These apartments have two or three bedrooms; the first is a twin-bedded double room with access to a neat little back terrace and the second is smaller with two individual beds. The third bedroom has bunk beds. All have built-in wardrobes, and ceiling fans. They also have a bathroom with bath and its shower accessory, washbasin and toilet.
**Pool usage conditions**
We've improved our pool access policies, which will be effective starting with the 2025 season! The Son Bou Beach Club pool located on Carrer des Prat will be FREE access for all Menorca Villa Holidays clients. Access to the other pools will continue to be available to all guests, however, a minimum access fee or consumption fee may be required.
The Location
Son Bou Gardens is a consolidated and extensive complex of apartments, ideal for families with children. The apartments are built in classical Mediterranean style with pools and surrounded by delightfully spacious lawned gardens. These popular apartments are found in the lower part of San Jaime a few metres away from the shops and the beach of Son Bou. Flexible arrival day, allocation is on arrival.
The apartment is a short walk from the nearest supermarket, bars and restaurants, and from the beautiful sandy beach of Son Bou. For many the lovely pristine beach is the main attraction, the longest on the island, with several bars and-restaurants dotted along its length and facilities for hiring sunbeds, parasols, pedalos and canoes. Club San Jaime is also nearby, this has extensive facilities including a large swimming pool, waterslides and restaurant. In addition, from June to September, many of the bars and restaurants provide live entertainment and music. There really is something for everyone in this clean and beautifully maintained resort. For many visitors to the island, Son Bou Beach, with its white sand and crystal-clear waters, is the area's main attraction. It boasts bars/restaurants and services for renting sun loungers, parasols, pedal boats, and canoes along its shoreline. The San Jaime Club is also nearby, offering various facilities, including a large pool, water slides, and a restaurant. Additionally, from June to September, most of the area's bars and restaurants offer live music and entertainment. There really is something for everyone at this beautiful, clean, and well-maintained resort.
Or you can also head to the nearby town of Alayor to stroll through the pretty streets of the historic center, or even head to Mahón or Es Castell to visit their lively ports or villages where you'll find a wide range of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

As from 1st July 2016 the Balearic Government imposed a Tourism Eco Tax of 2.20€ (VAT included) for the first 8 nights stay per person per night. From the ninth night of the stay onwards, the amount is reduced to 1.10€ (VAT included) per person per night. The tax applies to all guests over the age of 16 and is payable on arrival at the property managers check-in reception in office.
