The Space
Casa de Buenaventura is a modern and spacious two-storey detached villa, in the beautiful port area of Addaia, situated on the dramatic northern coast of Menorca. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, this bright and spacious accommodation has four bedrooms, all with their own bathroom. Two are double rooms, one has two single beds and the other a single bed, with the possibility of adding a cot if necessary, so the standard occupancy is 7 people. It has a nice swimming pool with fantastic views towards the port of Addaia. The entrance to the villa is either via external stairs that lead to the pool terrace, where the front door is located; or through the private garage (located under the house) which has an elevator that leads directly to the entrance hall. From the hall, to the right is the spacious and bright kitchen. It has windows on all three walls, letting in lots of natural light and offering wonderful views of the terrace and the port – nothing like cooking with a good view! The kitchen is equipped with a double door fridge freezer, an electric oven, dishwasher and microwave. There is plenty of storage space and complete sets of crockery, cutlery, utensils – everything you need for cooking. It has a small table with chairs for 4 people. Next to the kitchen there is a small laundry room, with a washing machine and a dryer. There is also a stall and an outdoor area to hang clothes. To the left of the hall is the living-dining room that has two French doors that lead to the terrace, providing a lot of natural light to the space and giving it very good views of the pool and the port. The dining table has space for up to 8 people. The living room area is divided into two spaces: one facing the pool with a sofa, two armchairs and a coffee table; while the other is in the corner of the room, with two sofas and a flat screen television. The television has satellite channels, English channels and a DVD player. This entire area has air conditioning and ceiling fans. On the other side of the living-dining room, there are glass doors that lead to a small shaded terrace with a table and chairs for 8 people. There is also a bathroom in the corner, down the stairs. The stairs lead to the second floor where three of the rooms are located. The fourth bedroom is accessed directly from the living-dining room. It has a double bed, a built-in wardrobe, an ensuite bathroom with shower and glass doors leading to the rear terrace. It has a ceiling fan and air conditioning. On the second floor we find the main room and two more rooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower, a dressing room and a private terrace with incredible views of the harbor and estuary. The third bedroom has a single bed (a cot can be added if necessary) and an ensuite bathroom with shower. The fourth bedroom has two single beds and a large ensuite bathroom with shower and bathtub. Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and sliding doors leading to a shared balcony with harbor views. The fourth bedroom also has a door that leads from the bathroom to a second private terrace, located at the back of the house. All of these rooms have ceiling fans and air conditioning.
The villa has several outdoor areas where you can relax, eat, enjoy the sun or find a shaded area to rest. Firstly, there is the main terrace at the front of the house, where the 8x4m pool is with magnificent views of the port of Addaia. Here there are sun loungers, a dining table with chairs for 8 people and an outdoor sofa area with a coffee table. There is a large gas barbecue, perfect for summer alfresco dinners. Towards the back area of the house, in addition to the outdoor dining area, there is also a small rock garden with a table and chairs, surrounded by trees and bougainvilleas; the perfect place to seek tranquility and peace.
Location
A few minutes walk from the villa there are bars, restaurants and a supermarket. Also, a few minutes in the other direction is the access to the Camí de Cavalls – the old rural road that runs along the perimeter of the island of Menorca, passing through the Albufera de Es Grau Natural Park, the heart of the Reserve of the Biosphere that is Menorca, and approaching the picturesque fishing village of Es Grau. It is a true paradise for lovers of nature and excursions! Less than a 5-minute walk away is the picturesque port of Addaia, home to various yachts and motor boats. Addaia has an ideal location, as it is less than 5 minutes by car from wonderful beaches such as Arenal d'en Castell, Na Macaret or Son Saura. A short drive of about 8 minutes will take you to the beautiful Fornells Beach, next to the historic town, marina and port, which offers a wide variety of restaurants, bars and craft shops, as well as coastal views and walks. impressive by the enormous bay of Fornells. From this small town, you can also access the Camí de Cavalls. The abundant beaches on the south coast of Menorca, such as Binibeca, Punta Prima, Alcaufar, Cala En Porter, etc. They are about 40 minutes by car.
The drive to reach Mahón and the airport is approximately 25 minutes by car; as well as to reach Ciutadella, the ancient capital of Menorca, which dominates the west coast along with a large number of beaches and coves.

As from 1st July 2016 the Balearic Government imposed a Tourism Eco Tax of 2.20€ (VAT included) for the first 8 nights stay per person per night. From the ninth night of the stay onwards, the amount is reduced to 1.10€ (VAT included) per person per night. The tax applies to all guests over the age of 16 and is payable on arrival at the property managers check-in reception in office.
