The Space
Villa Marnie is a traditional Menorcan villa that has been tastefully furnished and extensively modernised to offer comfortable and well-appointed family accommodation. Situated in a cul-de-sac in a quiet residential area of the very popular coastal resort town of Binibeca, it offers seclusion, privacy and a lovely tranquil setting for a relaxing family holiday, yet is within a 10 minute walk to Binibeca’s lovely sandy beach, and the waterside bars and restaurants of Cala Torret.
The villa offers light and spacious accommodation of three good size bedrooms – two with king-size beds and one with twin beds, all with air conditioning and ample fitted wardrobes. The roomy lounge benefits from air conditioning and has comfortable sofas & chairs, TV with access to English language TV channels; a separate dining room is accessed by two steps down to the slightly lower level. Double aluminium double-glazed patio doors lead out to the beautiful and extensive sunny terrace areas, bordered by landscaped hedges and shrubs, all surrounding the lovely tear-drop shaped 10mx4.5m swimming pool with Roman steps for easy access into the shallow end of the pool. The terrace have several chill-out seating and sun bathing areas both open & covered, and a covered outside dining area. Naturally the terrace is equipped with sun beds, dining table and chairs, and barbecue. Exterior stairs lead to a small roof terrace with nice distant sea views.
There are two attractive fully tiled modern shower rooms with good-sized walk-in showers, WCs, wash basins and storage space for toiletries etc.
The modern kitchen has a range of base and wall units, and has all the appliances, equipment, crockery, cutlery glasses etc necessary for the independent self-catering holiday. A utility room off the kitchen houses the washing machine.
This is a very comfortable home-from home offering lovely holiday accommodation in a villa on an unusually large plot, within Menorca’s south-east “golden triangle”.
Location
Binibeca Nou is well known for its white sandy beach, with all services (sun loungers, parasols, etc) and one of Menorca's most typical beach bars, "Los Bucaneros". The beach has easy mooring facilities for boats, and is ideal for snorkeling and/or fishing. In general terms, Binibeca Nou is a very relaxed resort, with no hotels, though a good selection of restaurants, bars and a couple of supermarkets.
The villa is a 10 minute walk to the beach and the bars and restaurants and 15km from the airport.
Beach: An attractive, deep, fine white sand beach with shaded picnic area at the rear and toilets. There is free parking at the rear and at the roadside. The beach waters are protected via a headland on the horizon. Perfect, shallow sandy bottomed and lined on both sides by rocks for great snorkeling. The beach bar of Los Bucaneros (a converted fishermans hut ) even serves freshly cooked basic meals as well as snacks and hot and cold drinks. There are lifeguards, pedaloes and electric fun boats available to hire from the beach. Sunbed and parasol hire. Behind the beach is an ice cream stamd and other food and drinks are available. The warm shallow waters of this bay make this resort very popular with families with younger children. Though the beach is big enough if you need some space.

As from 1st July 2016 the Balearic Government imposed a Tourism Eco Tax of 2.20€ (VAT included) for the first 8 nights stay per person per night. From the ninth night of the stay onwards, the amount is reduced to 1.10€ (VAT included) per person per night. The tax applies to all guests over the age of 16 and is payable on arrival at the property managers check-in reception in office.
