Casa Cascada

Casa Cascada is an attractive, spacious, detached two storey villa, in the lovely harbour resort of Addaia, on Menorca’s dramatic north coast.
Set in a quiet cul-de-sac, the light and airy accommodation offers four bedrooms each with their own bathroom – two bedrooms have double beds, two have twin single beds. The standard occupancy is for 8 people. It has a lovely south-facing infinity swimming pool area and fantastic views of the marina and estuary.
The entrance to the villa is up a set of outdoor steps that lead to the swimming pool terrace, where the front door is located. From the entrance hall, to the right, is the spacious and luminous kitchen. The windows on all of the three walls let in plenty of natural light and offer views over the pool terrace and also over the harbour – nothing like cooking with a view! The kitchen is equipped with a double-door fridge-freezer, electric oven, electric hob, dishwasher and microwave. There are fitted base and wall cupboards and the kitchen has plenty of all the crockery, glassware, cutlery, cookware and utensils necessary for the self-catering holiday. There is also a small kitchen table that seats four. Next to the kitchen, there is a small utility room, with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There are portable clothes lines and a rotary line in the garden.
To the left from the entrance hall is the open plan dining/living area which has two sets of French doors that lead out onto the pool terrace, letting in lots of natural light and offering great views over the pool and the Addaia harbour. The large dining room table seats up to eight people. The living area is divided into two seating areas: one facing the pool with a sofa, two chairs and a coffee table; while the other is in the far corner of the room, with two sofas facing a flat-screen TV. The TV is connected to a satellite dish and a Sky-box and there is also a DVD player. The dining/living area has ceiling fans and built-in air conditioning. On the other side of the dining/living area, there is a set of glass doors that lead off to a small, shady outdoor dining area, with a table that seats 4.
The stairs lead to the upper level where three of the bedrooms are located. The fourth bedroom is accessed directly from the dining/living area. It has a double bed, a fitted wardrobe, ensuite bathroom with shower and double doors leading to the rear dining area. It has a ceiling fan and built-in air conditioning. On the upper level there is the master bedroom and two further bedrooms. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a walk-in wardrobe and its own private terrace with stunning views over the harbour and estuary. Bedroom 3 has twin single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Bedroom 4 has twin single beds and a large bathroom with a bath and shower. Bedrooms 2 and 3 both have a fitted wardrobe and sliding doors that lead out onto a shared balcony with estuary views. Bedroom 4 also has a door leading out from the bathroom onto a second private terrace, located at the rear of the house. All of these bedrooms have ceiling fans and built-in air conditioning.
The villa boasts different outside areas where you can relax, dine, enjoy the sun or find a shady spot. Firstly, there is the main pool terrace, at the front of the house, and overlooking Addaia’s scenic harbour boasting a 8×4 Infinity swimming pool. Here you will find sunbeds, a dining table that seats up to eight people, and a seating area with a coffee table. There is a large gas barbecue, perfect for summer al fresco dining. To the rear of the house, in addition to the second outdoor dining area, there is a small rock garden with a table and chairs surrounded by trees and bougainvillea; the perfect place for some peace and quiet.
Journey time by car to Mahon and the airport is approximately 25 minutes and 45 minutes for Ciutadella, Menorca’s imposing former capital, dominating its west coast and many natural beaches and coves. Pool towels as well as hairdryers are included in the price. Hire car recommended.
